NEW SUMMER HOURS ARE HERE!

Starting July 11th, the Fireweed will be open six days a week, Tuesday-Sunday 4:30-9pm, with lunch service five days, Wednesday - Sunday 11:30am-2:30pm. We'll be running those hours through September!

So exciting to see everyone pouring into town for the 2017 Beer Festival! The Fireweed will be open normal dinner service hours: Tues-Sat 4:30-9pm. No brunches or lunches on our calendar at the moment, sorry! You can also catch us at the Fairgrounds during the actual tasting-- we're the booth with the pizza slices...

2017 SEASON

Update: opening has been postponed until Thursday, March 23rd! We lost our big mixer, the source of all our dough, grated cheeses and more. A replacement is (hopefully) on its way to us right now. We hope to be up and running in a couple days. Thanks for your patience!

We're back! Frozen pipes and the sudden reappearance of heavy snow notwithstanding, we should be open for business Tuesday, March 21st. We've got a great staff assembled, a few tweaks to the menu (including more options for kids!) and fresh Katie Craney art for the walls. Check back for the new menu soon. We look forward to seeing you!

FIREWEED CLOSED Tuesday 8/2/16

In the continuing saga of restaurant life here in Southeast Alaska, a broken-down tugboat has prevented the whole town of Haines from getting its freight after its busiest week of the year (Southeast Alaska State Fair time). We're out of most fresh ingredients, beverages, etc, and will be unable to open tonight. We'll be back online tomorrow (WEDNESDAY 8/3) for dinner service. Sorry for the inconvenience, and here's to everyone working hard to get freight to our little corner of the universe!

Beer Fest 2016 weekend schedule

We're psyched for Brew Fest! Can't wait to see all of you beer enthusiasts enjoying yourselves responsibly here in beautiful Haines, AK. Here's our schedule for your dining convenience:

Friday - open 4:30-9pm (regular menu available!)

Saturday day - our usual Brewfest booth in action, selling hot slices from 12-4:30pm at the Fairgrounds!

Saturday evening - restaurant open 4:30-9pm (limited menu, no to-go orders)

Sunday - BRUNCH! One day only, 9am-1pm. We'll have a special menu featuring Adam's famous biscuits & gravy, mimosas, red beer, fresh-baked pastries and more.

2016 SEASON

We'll be open for business this year starting Friday, March 25th! Lots of new things to share with you in addition to our usual Fireweed fare. Come check out our freshly renovated expansion into Building #37, featuring a new bar made by Derek Poinsette of Poinsette Woodworks. Derek also built us a big and burly family table to match the bar, designated for your large group dining needs. We're kicking off the season with art by local talents Melina Shields and Katie Craney on the new walls. Food-wise, we're especially excited to add several new local seafood and grill options to the menu. Here's to a fun season, from Adam, Amelia and the Fireweed crew!
